The European Commission has launched a Call for Evidence and Public Consultation concerning the evaluation of the Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 (BPR). The consultation will close on 5th March 2026. Please see document below for full details.

Irelands Draft National Implementation Plan on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP’s)
As a recommendation of the National Hazardous Waste Management Plan 2021-2027 (NHWMP), DAFM and DCEE in conjunction with stakeholders are facilitating six Farm Hazardous Waste Collections during November and December 2025. More information can be found here for the upcoming collections.
