Purchase of Rodenticides by a Pest Control Company

A nominated person can purchase rodenticides for a specified pest control company on behalf of their PMUs if the company submits a completed bulk buying form to the wholesaler/retailer prior to the purchase of the rodenticides. The nominated person does not require a PMU number.  This form can be accepted by the retailer/wholesaler at the point of sale as proof of competency and can be verified using the DAFM register for PMUs.

The Managing Director of the pest control company is responsible for ensuring only PMUs listed on the letter use the products purchased using this form. IMPORTANT – The pest control company is then acting as a distributor and MUST keep records of quantities of stock collected/returned by each PMU using the record keeping template for retailers.
