Permanent Baiting Rules

The approval of anticoagulant rodenticides in 2018 no longer permits the use of permanent toxic baiting as a routine practice. Toxic baiting periods can only be carried out for a maximum of 35 days. Toxic baiting may only be continued beyond this period by trained professionals if justified with a new/revised risk assessment, where all other methods of control have proven insufficient. Please see document below for details of the legal requirements linked to the approval of the anticoagulant rodenticides regarding permanent toxic baiting.
