Requirements for registration as a Pest Management Trained Professional User
Pest Management Trained Professional Users (PMU) offering a pest management service must register with the DAFM by clicking here. The PMU must provide evidence that they are trained professional users and agree to participate in required continuous professional education (CPE) to maintain a valid registration. The registration of PMUs is a necessary step towards ensuring proper training and competence among those who provide a commercial service of pest management.
Registration requirements, completed A or B below;
- A - Lantra Award Trained Professional User Course.
OR
- B (i) - A recognised training course (e.g. IPCA Diploma in Pest Management, RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, etc.)
and
- B (ii) - CRRU Wildlife Aware Course
